On a day marked by escalating tensions in the region, Israeli airstrikes were initiated earlier in the southern border regions during the early hours of Saturday afternoon. The Israeli military carried out airstrikes, targeting the outskirts of Blida in the Marjayoun district, as well as the regions of Kfarchouba, Al-Kharayebah, Marjayoun, Halta, and Wadi Khensha. The situation escalated as they deployed a flare shell in the ‘Tal al-Nahhas’ area located between Kfarkila and Birj Al-Malouk, causing a fire.

Civil defense teams from the Qleia center responded promptly to extinguish the fire caused by the shell on the outskirts of Birj Al-Malouk, but this unfortunate incident led to the burning of several productive olive trees. Concurrently, Hezbollah targeted the Rweisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

As tensions continued to rise throughout the day, the situation took a more concerning turn. Three guided missiles were fired toward the occupied Hanita site, prompting an immediate response from the Israeli army, which is now shelling the area. Additionally, Israeli artillery strikes have been reported on the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab and al-Duhayra following the launch of the three missiles.
