Australia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Andrew Barnes wrote a post on his account on the X platform stating, “If you are in Lebanon, you must assess whether your need to stay there is essential.”
He continued, “If you want to leave, know that a crisis may limit civil aviation. You should think about your options.”
He added, “The Australian government’s ability to help you leave will be very limited in times of crisis.”
