Head of the Kataeb party Samy Gemayel stated on Sunday that it is impossible to coexist with Hezbollah’s illegal arms.
In a meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Bikfaya, Gemayel stressed the need to address this issue through unconventional means, highlighting the importance of unified efforts to halt the cycle of submission and establish a broad opposition front that represents various regions, groups and communities that reject domination.
Gemayel also mentioned that there have been attempts to manage the country’s affairs since 2005 despite assassinations and difficulties. However, he pointed out that Hezbollah has been hindering reforms and accountability while protecting corrupt individuals and criminals.
