Clashes have resumed inside the Ain al-Hilweh camp between the Fatah movement and extremist Islamist groups, with the use of B7 and B10 rocket shells and “Dushka” heavy automatic weapons.
According to information reported by the daily newspaper An-Nahar, armed groups from the Fatah movement launched an attack on neighborhoods where Islamist extremists are present.
Machine-gun fire and shells were heard in the vicinity of the camp. The clashes intensified considerably and reportedly spread to the area around el-Bustan and el-Braksat.
