On Monday, Referee Judge Karl Irani issued a ruling requiring the Ministry of Finance to provide the preliminary report on the forensic audit of Banque du Liban’s accounts and activities carried out by Alvarez and Marsal immediately and without delay.
Kataeb party leader Samy Gemayel announced the news on his Twitter account.
It should be recalled in this context that Gemayel and a number of MPs had previously requested a copy of the report from the Ministry of Finance last June without success.
