Even though the pandemic is over, Cuba is still having trouble regaining the thriving tourism industry that is so important to its economy. The high season in Trinidad, the jewel of the island, was “with ups and downs,” according to operators who are counting on a rise in Russian tourists and the establishment of new marketplaces.
