The annual ATCL tennis tournament continues on its courts in Kaslik, for the second week running. 355 male and female players took part in 16 different age groups.
The tournament will continue until Saturday July 20, under the supervision of the Lebanese Tennis Federation.
Monday’s results are as follows:
Boys:
– 12 years and under: Raphael Azar beat Ghassan El Khoury 6-3 and 6-2.
– 14 and under: Elias Abou Rahal beat Ziad Al Samad 6-0 and 6-1 Elias Sharabieh beat Ryan Oweyjan 6-0 and 6-3 Joe Hassoun beat Hussein Awada 6-0 and 6-1, and Anthony Barakat beat Hassan Awada 6-0 and 6-1.
– 18 and under: Faisal Khaled beat Edwin Haddad 6-1 and 6-2
– Boys’ doubles: Mohammed Ataya and Ziad Gharios beat George Ataya and George Sfeir by forfeit.
Girls :
– 12 and under: Mariam Qamareddine beat Nour Khater 6-4 and 6-4, and Maria El Hashash beat Anna Zakharenkova 7-5, 4-6 and 7-5.
– 18 and under: Pamela Younes beat Reem Frangieh 6-3, 6-2, and Serena Khoury beat Maria Khater 6-2, 6-3.
Tuesday’s matches kick off at 11:30 a.m.
