Italy’s Marco Bezzecchi was the fastest in the first two qualifying sessions of the Netherlands Grand Prix, ahead of Spain’s Jorge Martin (Ducati-Pramac), winner last weekend in Germany, and Australia’s Jack Miller (KTM), on Friday at Assen.

Already the fastest in the first morning session, the Ducati-VR46 rider set his reference time in the afternoon (1:32.063), approaching the absolute track record set last year by Francesco Bagnaia (1:31.504), the current championship leader. The reigning world champion settled for fourth place.
