Saturday evening, Israeli forces carried out a new series of violent raids on southern Lebanon, after torching several areas in the afternoon.

Media outlets reported that the Israeli army announced the start of this new round of raids.

“In a series of raids on southern Lebanon, about 180 targets and thousands of rocket launchers that were ready to be launched immediately towards Israeli territory were destroyed,” said Israeli spokesman Avichai Adrae.

Adrae added on the X platform, “The Defense Forces also shelled some areas of southern Lebanon with artillery.”

He concluded, “The Defense Forces continue to strike Hezbollah’s structures and strip its capabilities.”

An Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle in the Hamoul area, killing a Syrian laborer.

The Israeli army launched attacks on the Litani River area deep inside Lebanon, about 30 kilometers from the border.

It targeted several areas, including Jabal al-Rihan heights, Abu Rashid and al-Qatrani in the Western Beqaa, Mahmoudiya, Ain al-Zarqa and the outskirts of the town of Marwahin. Israeli forces also carried out a violent raid on the Khardali riverbed, Mays al-Jabal, al-Kharayeb by the sea from the Adloun side and in Najariya from the Baysariya side, Tafahta and the outskirts of Zarariya, Abu al-Aswad in the south for the first time since the outbreak of the war.

An Israeli missile landed on the highway in the city of Hasbaya, but did not explode.

Raids on Wadi Nmairiya, al-Sharqiya and Zefta caused forest fires.

Israeli warplanes flew over the Shebaa Farms, up to the Beqaa airspace, carrying out mock raids over the region.

It was reported that fires broke out in the forests of the area extending from Hamila on the course of the Zahrani River between Azza and Deir al-Zahrani, as a result of the airstrikes that targeted the area.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that 90 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israeli towns in northern Israel.

Hezbollah targeted several Israeli positions, including the Jal al-Alam air defense base, Northern Command’s Beria barracks, the Golani Brigade’s 631st reconnaissance unit in Ramot Naftali, the Sahl Battalion in Beit Hillel, forces of the 300th Brigade at the Admit barracks, the Golan 210th Division headquarters at Neveh base and the Galilee Division’s new headquarters in Ayelet Hashahar, mostly using Katyusha rockets.
