The Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Beirut, Elias Audi, pointed out that the leaders “must rally around the idea of the State and work towards building it, putting the welfare and salvation of Lebanon as their primary goal.”
During the Sunday Mass at the Saint George Cathedral in Beirut, he considered that if the leaders love their country and are loyal to their people, they must “embrace love, humility, honesty, integrity, and respect for others.”
