Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is set to lead a Lebanese delegation on Wednesday to participate in the funeral of the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter accident on Sunday, May 19.
In related events, Hezbollah announced that a ceremony will be held on Friday in honor of the late Iranian president, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions. Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah is expected to deliver a speech during this event.
The Iranian Embassy in Lebanon also announced that it will accept condolences on Wednesday and Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
