Tuesday morning saw a relatively cautious calm on the southern front.

An Israeli drone targeted the Qandouli neighborhood, west of Mays al-Jabal, while the locality of Zebqine was bombed. For its part, the Israeli army announced that warplanes had attacked “a military building in which a Hezbollah member had been spotted” on Monday evening, without specifying the location of the strike.

Hezbollah announced the death of one of its fighters, Hussein Abbas Issa, from Mays al-Jabal.

This comes after a tense night from Monday to Tuesday, during which several Israeli raids were carried out, notably against Khiam and the most violent hit at Kfar Kila, with the Israeli army using “four heavy missiles called ‘Sharon’ seismic missiles,” which caused extensive damage to the locality.

Similarly, simulated airstrikes were launched over localities in the western sector, while flares were dropped on the same villages and on the central sector.

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft also flew over villages in the Tyre district, the sea coast and the blue line adjacent to the Israeli border.
