Head of the Lebanese Forces Party Samir Geagea asserted on Monday that the LF will continue everything they are doing “until the last illegal immigrant is removed from Lebanon.”

In a statement, Geagea emphasized, “Neither international wishes nor UN Billions will stop what we started, because no priority is above our Lebanese identity, sovereignty or security.”

He stressed that “what should be discussed is the help to deport Syrian refugees and not the help for them to stay in Lebanon.”

“After we found that those who ruled for years failed to assume their responsibilities and did not take any practical step outside of political bidding, we started a series of actions on ground with municipalities, departments and concerned ministries,” he added.

In this context, a delegation from the LF parliamentary bloc, headed by MP Sethrida Geagea, visited Army Commander General Joseph Aoun today, and addressed with him the security, economic and social repercussions resulting from the presence of Syrian migrants.
