Tensions persist on the southern front between Hezbollah and Israel.
On Sunday night, two Hezbollah members were killed in an Israeli raid on the village of Sultaniyeh (Bint Jbeil district), including a field commander of the al-Radwan forces, according to information obtained by the Reuters news agency from security sources.
The raid targeted a two-story house in Sultaniyeh, as well as commercial stores. Two bodies were pulled from the rubble. Hezbollah subsequently announced the deaths of two of its members, one from Beirut and the other from Aita al-Shaab.
Early on Monday evening, Israeli aircraft carried out several raids on Odaisseh, where a house was targeted.
According to initial reports, some injuries were reported. The Taybeh civil defense team, who extinguished the fire, survived a second air strike targeting the same house.
Earlier on Monday, Israeli artillery shelled the Marjayoun valley, Mays al-Jabal, and the outskirts of Deir Mimas, Kfar Kila, and Tallet Hamames. Some sectors of Khiam were the target of intensive Israeli bombardment, both by aircraft and artillery.
Israeli raids also targeted Kfarshouba, where a missile landed near a house without causing any casualties. Air strikes also targeted a farm located between Helta and Kfarchouba, on the outskirts of Habariyeh (Hasbaya district), as well as Kfarshouba and Kfar Hamam.
The Israeli Army also combed the areas of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labbouneh, and Alma al-Shaab with heavy machine-gun fire.
For its part, Hezbollah announced that it had attacked the Israeli position at Ras al-Naqoura, as well as a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the Hadb Yarine site.
