Israeli attacks on South Lebanon continued throughout the day on Tuesday, while Hezbollah has yet to claim any retaliatory attacks on the territory.

A Merkava tank targeted the outskirts of Ramya and Bayt Lif with five direct shells and artillery shelling this afternoon.

Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike on the town of Aita al-Shaab, while artillery shelling targeted Wadi Hamoul on the outskirts of Naqoura.

Israeli warplanes raided the town of Odaisseh in the late morning.

The Israeli army fired heavy machine guns toward the forests adjacent to the towns of Ramya and Aita al-Shaab in the central sector from its positions near the Blue Line.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, claimed on the X platform that Hezbollah and the Amal movement used ambulances belonging to the Islamic Health Society in southern Lebanon “for military purposes.”

He added, “According to the estimates of the Israeli army, ambulances are used by Hezbollah and Amal to transport personnel between places in areas surveyed by Israeli forces, as well as to transport combat equipment or gear for military activities.”

Throughout the night, the town of Hanin in the eastern sector was subjected to artillery shelling, causing extensive damage to property and the electricity network.
