Israeli army bombardment reached the areas near the UNIFIL maritime base in Naqoura this Sunday afternoon. Several southern towns were targeted by Israeli warplanes, among them the Abu Laban neighborhood in Aita al-Shaab, Wadi Hamoul, Bayt Lif Valley, Aitaroun, the outskirts of Odaisseh and the al-Awaida hill above Kfar Kila.

Additionally, the National News Agency reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of the towns of Yarine, Tayr Harfa, Jibine and Chihine in the western sector, as well as Ramya and Khallet Warda.

In retaliation, Hezbollah claimed eight attacks. It announced that it targeted Israeli soldiers’ positions at the Baghdadi site with rocket fire, the Evne Menahem settlement, the Shomera settlement, the Tiyahat triangle, as well as the Ya’aroun settlement and the Samaqa site twice “with appropriate weapons, causing direct hits and inflicting casualties.” Later in the afternoon, Hezbollah announced it targeted the Ruwaisat al-Alam site with a volcano rocket.

This morning, warplanes carried out a raid with two missiles on a house in the Bayader neighborhood in the town of Yaroun, followed by a similar raid that targeted a home in the town’s public square. However, no casualties were reported.

An interceptor missile also exploded in Wadi Hamoul-Naqoura. Israeli artillery shelling targeted Wadi Bayt Lif, and multiple Israeli raids targeted Aita al-Shaab.

At dawn on Sunday, the Israeli army opened heavy machine gun fire toward the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab from its positions adjacent to Birkat Risha.

On the other side, two rockets were fired this morning from southern Lebanon toward the Israeli Zebdine barracks in the Shebaa Farms. Another missile was also fired at an Israeli position in the Kfarchouba hills in southern Lebanon.
