On behalf of the Strong Republic Bloc, MPs Ghassan Hasbani, Georges Okais, and Razi el-Hage will file a summons before the Constitutional Council to challenge the 2024 budget law at 1:00 PM on Thursday.
The law was published in the Official Gazette this morning. Additionally, the appeal will be registered in the Council’s registry on February 15, 2024.
As a reminder, the Cabinet approved the 2024 budget on February 8, 2024.
