Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri paid a visit to the Grand Serail for a meeting with Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
Following the meeting’s closure, Hariri was asked whether or not he would maintain a media blackout, to which he replied, “I’ll see you on February 14.”
In turn, Mikati reiterated that the Serail was “Hariri’s home,” and it was “up to him to welcome us.”

Saad Hariri arrived in Lebanon on Sunday evening for the commemoration of his father’s assassination on February 14. Speculation abounds regarding the duration of his visit to Lebanon and whether he will deliver a speech on Wednesday.
The former prime minister had “suspended” his political activity on January 24, 2022, and had instructed his party members not to run for office or engage in politics.
