Three people were killed on Monday afternoon in an Israeli raid on a house in the village of Bayt Lif, south Lebanon. According to initial reports, the victims were three fighters from the Amal movement.

Tension was high throughout the day in the southern border strip, which had been vibrating since Sunday evening to the rhythm of uninterrupted artillery exchanges between Hezbollah and Israel. Sunday night was particularly violent, with intense shelling on both sides of the border.

Israeli artillery also targeted the area around the villages of Markaba, Rachaya al-Foukhar, Kfar Hamam, and Labbouneh. An Israeli raid targeted a house in the suburb of Chihine, where a civilian was wounded. He was transported by the Islamic Message Scouts Association to a local hospital.

An Israeli drone raided the village of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil caza earlier in the afternoon. Israeli aircraft also attacked the outskirts of Naqoura, Al-Touffaha, and Mays al-Jabal.

For its part, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Al-Soummaka sites in the Kfarchouba hills, the Shebaa Farms, and Roueissat al-Alam. The pro-Iranian party also issued a statement announcing the deaths of three of its fighters.

Early on Monday morning, eight missiles were fired from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee, where sirens sounded. The Israeli Army retaliated with an artillery bombardment, according to Israeli Channel 12. Shells fell in the wooded area between Teir Harfa and Chameh.

Simultaneously, the Israeli Army carried out air raids on the outskirts of the village of Marouahine.
