The Head of the National Council for Lifting Iran’s Occupation of Lebanon, Farès Souhaid, stated that “Palestine is fighting on its own.”
In a message posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the former MP elaborated on his remarks with the following explanation:
1. “Iran washed its hands of October 7 to avoid a direct war with the United States.
2. This discrimination led to the deaths of 25,000 martyrs who we know by name, not counting the wounded and the missing.
3. Israel let the reins loose against an entire population without political or military constraints.
4. Palestine has become a ballot paper in the American election ballot box.”
