Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant responded to Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah’s upcoming media appearance scheduled for Friday, stating that Hezbollah “does not want to turn Beirut into Gaza” and is currently showing restraint.

Gallant made these remarks during a press conference, emphasizing, “Our air forces are prepared to intervene.” He added, “We do not seek to open a new front with Lebanon, but if it is forced upon us, we will be prepared.”

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid also delivered a strong message to the Lebanese people regarding Hezbollah. On Wednesday, Lapid posted a video on his official account on “X,” in which he conveyed a message to the Lebanese people, asserting that Hezbollah is attempting to provoke the Israeli army into a war.

Lapid cautioned the Lebanese people about this attempt, asserting that they would “pay the price.”
