A leading delegation from the “Islamic Resistance Movement,” Hamas, headed by the Deputy Head of the Movement’s Political Bureau, Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri, met with Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri, in his office in Ain Al-Tineh on October 28.

According to a statement issued by Hamas, “Al-Arouri presented the course of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, which was launched by the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian resistance on October 7. It came in response to the occupation’s violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s prisons, and the continuation of the occupation’s aggression against all Palestinian lands.”

He called on all countries to stop the aggression, put an end to the crimes of the occupation, and work to allow the entry of humanitarian convoys into the Gaza Strip.

For his part, Berri considered that “what happened on October 7 is a strong slap in the face of the occupation, saluting the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance that inflicted a historic defeat on the occupation army.”

He expressed his condemnation of the war crimes committed, calling on all countries and parliaments to “work to stop the massacres committed by the occupation in Gaza.”
