The Saudi Embassy in Beirut announced, via its X account, that it was “closely monitoring the ongoing developments in Southern Lebanon,” and urged its citizens to “abide by the travel ban directive and immediately depart from Lebanese territory if currently in the country.”
Several embassies, including those of Canada, France and the United States, have recently issued similar instructions to their citizens. This action is prompted by concerns about a possible regional escalation in the conflict between Hamas and Israel.
