Tensions remain high on Lebanon’s southern border, where the Israeli army announced that it has activated its anti-aircraft defense system after intercepting a drone from Lebanon on its northern border, not far from Kiryat Shmona.

A Patriot missile was fired at the drone, while Israeli aircraft were flying over the regions of Hasbaya, Chebaa and Kfarchouba.

This overflight was accompanied by Israeli bombardments of border points, particularly in the Hebbarieh area, in Marjeyoun.

Israeli media said that Hezbollah hit first military Israeli positions in Kfarchouba, and that “tension is rising” on the northern border.
