Lebanon’s rainy season got off to a challenging start this past weekend with floods affecting various areas, including the Jounieh highway. The effectiveness of the Ministry’s work has raised concern among the public. Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamie expressed his frustration on Sunday on the X platform, citing a lack of cooperation and a worsening waste problem near Douaihy bakery in Jounieh.
