The General Directorate of State Security announced on Tuesday that it confiscated goods suspected to be originating from Israeli companies.

According to a statement issued by the directorate, the joint efforts between the Directorate of Intelligence, special forces and the regional directorates of State Security led to a series of coordinated raids on warehouses and stores located in different Lebanese regions.

The operations took place following information indicating the presence of goods made in Israel being sold in various commercial centers across Lebanon.

“The goods were confiscated, and the individuals involved were summoned for questioning to determine the source of the merchandise. The case was referred to the competent judiciary for legal proceedings,” the statement read.
