A terrible traffic accident occurred on Friday on the North-Lebanon highway at the level of Qalamoun. Five people were killed, including children and an elderly woman. Six people were also injured. They were all transported to the governmental hospital in Tripoli.
The victims are members of the same Syrian family, and residents of the town of Myriata, in Zghorta, while the father worked in Denniyeh.
According to the Road Traffic Management Center, the accident occurred between two cars, one of which collided with a power pole.
