Garbage cans and scooters have made it impossible to open the windows in Bourj Hammoud. To put an end to this situation, the Harboyan shopping center committee decided to finance the renovation of four streets. They cleaned and decorated them as well as created parking spaces. Two of these streets are now pedestrianized, which will hopefully change the neighborhood’s image and help develop its business.
