In the 10th edition of its " Meet the Artist” series, the US embassy hosted Lebanese filmmaker Nadine Labaki who has made history by becoming the first Arab female director ever to be nominated for a Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2019.
The hour-long session, moderated by US Ambassador Dorothy Shea, an art lover, was a valuable opportunity for emerging artists and film students to come together, network, ask questions, share their experiences and interact with the influential filmmaker.
