Academic researcher and activist Saleh Machnouk said to “Political Pulse” that the real problem in the country is not the vacancy at the Executive level but Hezbollah, who holds the country in a chokehold.

Machnouk mainly focused on the presidential race, stressing the role of the opposition, and urging the undecided MPs’ to take a stance in Parliament and vote in the next electoral session.

He also strongly and openly criticized former President Michel Aoun’s visit to Syria, describing it as “the icing on the cake” after completing a disastrous presidential mandate.
