Amos Hochstein from Ain el-Tineh: The US does not want to see the conflict in Gaza escalating and expanding into Lebanon. The calm on the southern borders is of utmost importance to the US and it should be the highest priority for both Lebanon and Israel, that is what UN security council resolution 1701 is all about and what it was designed for. Let’s all use it and fully implement it.
