Former Minister Ahmad Sami Minkara passed away on Monday, July 24, at the age of 85.
Originally from Tripoli, the former Brigadier occupied the posts of Minister of Education (2004-2005) and Mayor of Tripoli (1992-1998).
His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday in Tripoli.
