Editor (Based in Beirut)

Core Responsibilities:

- Edit news reports to ensure accuracy, speed, and editorial reliability.

- Adapt and update reports in real time as stories evolve, integrating new information while preserving narrative flow and editorial consistency.

- Write captions and manage content publishing across all This Is Beirut social media platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Native level language proficiency in English (written and spoken).

- Experience in journalism, editing, and/or research related to Lebanon and the Middle East.

- Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms.

- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
