The Ministry of Finance announced that tomorrow, Monday 15 May 2023, will be the last day to benefit from penalty exemptions up to 100% on taxes, fees, and violations, based on Article 20 of the 2022 Budget Law.
The Ministry urges all interested parties who want to benefit from these exemptions to visit its centers during official working hours. It also announced that it will extend the deadline for receipt closure and cashbox opening until midnight on Monday 15 only at the main Department of Revenue and VAT headquarters located in Adliya – Corniche River.
The Ministry encourages all concerned individuals to visit its website at www.finance.gov.lb to check the status of their files and see whether they are required to pay or not. This is to avoid the inconvenience of having to visit its offices or those of any other entities collecting funds on behalf of the Ministry and to facilitate and expedite the work of its employees.
