Due to the success of the play and public demand, Mono-Pause, the latest theatrical creation by Betty Taoutel, has been extended until May 5th. Sold-out performances, standing ovations, and the enthusiasm of the audience have encouraged the director to negotiate to keep the theater reservation until this date, resulting in 8 weeks of shows (a total of 40 performances since March 14th, with 350 spectators each night).

The director did not expect such success, although she hoped for it deep down and worked tirelessly to achieve it, paying attention to every detail of staging a script written from the heart. She will not be able to perform in Beirut beyond May 5th, as a tour is planned in various Lebanese regions and abroad, starting with Dubai on May 17th and 18th at the Zabeel Theatre. Betty Taoutel expressed being “very happy with the positive feedback that has prompted many festivals and producers to contact [her].”

For those who have not yet had the chance to see Mono-Pause, they should hurry to book their tickets at Librairie Antoine branches and on

As a reminder, “Mono-Pause” tells the story of a woman’s voluntary disappearance.
