The latest Jacquemus fashion show, titled “Les Sculptures,” took place in the artistic and inspiring environment of the Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul-De-Vence. This event marked a remarkable fusion of fashion and art, showcasing the creator’s new collection amidst the iconic works of Giacometti and Miró.

Jacquemus’s collection, named “Les Sculptures,” was unveiled in the exceptional setting of the Maeght Foundation, among the creations of Giacometti and Mirò. This presentation is a true homage to the designer’s love for art, enhanced by the unique atmosphere of the Maeght Foundation.
This significant cultural venue, where art harmoniously blends with nature and architecture, houses one of the largest collections in Europe, with over 13,000 works. A visit to the Maeght Foundation offers an immersion into the works of great 20th-century artists, including Bonnard, Calder, Miró, Léger, Kandinsky, and Chagall, to name just a few.
The Foundation also benefits from the generous bequest of over 1,000 works by Marguerite and Aimée Maeght, in addition to its permanent collection. Designed by architect Josep Lluís Sert, who also created Joan Miró’s studio in Palma de Mallorca, the Maeght Foundation also serves as a venue for various cultural events, including concerts, dance performances and theatrical productions.
With this spirit of blending art and fashion, Simon Porte Jacquemus chose to present his collection. He explains his choice, saying, “I knew one day I would do a show here because for me it’s about the art of living, a sense of humor, open doors, poetry, family…”
For Jacquemus, the South is more than just a region; it is a profound source of inspiration and an integral part of his identity and that of his brand. He emphasizes, “The South is part of my identity, and that of Jacquemus. The landscapes and visions with which I grew up constantly nourish my collections.”
In this universe where art and creation meet, surrounded by the sculptures of Giacometti and Miró, Jacquemus brought his new collection to life in a dazzling fashion show. Among the models, Gigi Hadid, a close friend of the designer and already present at the show at the Château de Versailles, made a notable appearance. She opened the show in a pale yellow trench coat with voluminous, rounded shoulders. Emily Ratajkowski shone in a belted black suit with meticulously structured sleeves, while Deva Cassel elegantly paraded in a sleek, long black coat.
Prestigious guests such as Julia Roberts, Kristin Davis and Kylie Jenner mesmerized the audience with their exceptional outfits, adding to the brilliance of the event. The collection presented was truly sculptural in nature, with standout pieces such as the elegant Cubisto sling shoes and the distinctive round Vanito bag.
The men’s collection segment unfolded in a similar atmosphere, surrounded by the sculptures and paintings of great masters, adding an additional artistic dimension to the show. The ambiance was infused with a sunny warmth and palpable joy on this January 29th, creating an environment of good cheer.
The highlight of the show was the presentation of a unique and spectacular piece: a sculpted wedding dress that perfectly fit the model, a creation intended to remain exclusive and not for sale. Jacquemus, with his talent for blending artistic influences and minimalist fashion where neutral tones dominate, once again demonstrated his skill in masterfully marrying art and fashion.
