Heartbeats up, adrenaline rush flowing in, models walking out… from the strings of life. Tony Ward’s Fashion Show in Paris on July 3rd, 2023, was different this time. What’s under the skin was showcased through art, technology, sustainability and architectural details.

On July 3, the Tony Ward Couture Fall Winter 2023/24 Fashion Show took place at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Unhealed wounds translated into patterns of pores, bold crisscross cut-outs linking the inner body with the outer world, tapestry of interlocking braids replicating what’s beneath the surface, skirts flowing on the runway following the breathing flow, bold contrasting colors showing the raw emotions, dramatic walks in voluminous capes. Prioritizing sustainability for this season, upcycled couture pieces were given a new life. Tony Ward Fashion House also joined forces with high-tech architect & digital fabricator Batoul Al-Rachdan (Studio B.O.R.) to create a dress made of 3D biodegradable plant-based material. Combining the Atelier’s handwork with science and the technology of digital creations, the filaments dress was brought to life. Celebrities, actresses, international press, fashion gurus, stylists and influencers came from the four corners of the world to discover what lies beneath the skin. Fan Bingbing, Jasmin Tookes, Tessa Brooks, Araya Hargate, Dorra Zarrouk, Gessica Kayane and many more were spotted among the beautiful front-row faces. It took sleepless nights at the Ateliers, countless hours experimenting with new techniques and more than 100 days of handwork to make this collection come to life… to show that no matter how diverse our body is, it still comes together beautifully.

Fashion at Tony Ward’s is first and foremost about poetry…

What lies beneath,

Under my skin

Fluid like the course of life,

Organic cut-outs of breathing transparencies,

Vertiginous décolleté to the bottom of the spine,

Swollen collars, fueled-up sleeves,

Voluminous cover-ups expose the skin underneath

Layers of fabric intertwined.

Auburn, porcelain, vanilla, burgundy, rose pink,

Soft velvet, charmeuse, taffeta

Mousseline texture mutated into scales,

Embroidered molecules bonded together,

Binding attraction,

The Tony Ward Couture Fall Winter 23/24 collection

Gets under your skin.
