American sources claim that Israel will not respond to the Iranian retaliation as Tehran wishes and as circles close to Iran predict, since the Hebrew state was not hit and suffered no casualties in last Saturday’s drone and missile attack.
However, this will not prevent Israel, according to these sources, from continuing its strikes against Iranian interests and military positions in Syria, thus pursuing their plan of provocation.
A security observer reported that a drone strike killed Kassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and other Iranian cadres, as well as Mohamad Reda Zahidi and five Iranian military advisors, while Iran launched 185 drones, 36 cruise missiles and 110 ground-to-ground missiles without killing a single Israeli, and the Axis of Resistance considers Saturday’s retaliation a great victory.
