A series of Israeli air raids hit several areas in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa on Sunday.
An Israeli airstrike targeted a car in Naqoura on Sunday morning, killing one person, according to the Ministry of Health. The attack was followed by another strike that hit a car near the General Security center at the entrance of the town of Nabi Sheet, in the Bekaa, where one death was reported.
Another car was targeted by an Israeli raid in Buday, in the Bekaa, without causing any injuries. In addition, one person was killed and two others were wounded in an Israeli strike on Al-Hfeyr, west of Baalbeck, later in the afternoon.
Intense flights by Israeli drones were also reported over Tyre and surrounding villages, as well as over Beirut’s southern suburbs, where one drone was seen flying at a very low altitude.
On Saturday evening, an Israeli raid targeting a motorcycle in the town of Kleiaa (Tyre district) killed one person, the Health Ministry said. The Israeli army later identified the victim as Mohammad Akram Arabiyeh, a member of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit. According to the army’s Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee, the individual had recently taken part in efforts to rebuild Hezbollah’s military and logistical infrastructure, in violation of agreements between Israel and Lebanon.
Earlier on Sunday, around 3:40 a.m., an Israeli drone fired a missile at a construction vehicle in the village of Blida (Marjayoun district), causing no casualties. Another drone later dropped a sound bomb toward Aita al-Shaab. Later in the day, a drone again dropped a sound bomb in the direction of several farmers in Aita al-Shaab.
