
An Israeli drone strike targeted the Al-Dhuhur area in the town of Aitaroun, in Southern Lebanon on Friday evening, killing one person, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health confirmed.
The ministry’s Emergency Health Operations Center said another drone strike targeted a car in the town of Aita al-Shaab, leaving two people wounded.
Further Israeli drone activity was reported across southern Lebanon. Bombs were dropped on the towns of Al-Dhaira and Naqoura, though no casualties were recorded. In Naqoura, a fisherman was injured by shrapnel when a drone dropped a bomb along the beach in the Tyre district.
Meanwhile, unmanned aerial vehicles continued to hover over Naqoura, Tayr Harfa, Al-Bayyada, and Shamaa.
Earlier on Friday morning, two people were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a car in the town of Aita al-Jabal, in the Bint Jbeil district, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
