Five people were killed and five others injured on Monday in a series of Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Hermel region in easst Lebanon and areas around Nabi Moussa in Northern Beqaa.

The dead are believed to be members of Hezbollah.

According to a statement from the Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, the raids targeted “Hezbollah terrorist positions” in the area, including Radwan Force camps used to store combat equipment and train operatives.

The army accused Hezbollah of using these camps to “plan and carry out attacks against Israeli forces and the State of Israel,” noting that live-fire exercises and training with various types of combat equipment took place.
