The number of Israeli raids targeting villages in southern Lebanon has risen to more than 15 as of late Tuesday night. Around 10:00 p.m., a series of strikes hit the towns of Adloun and Ansariyah, with additional reports of heavy aerial activity in the region.

Israeli warplanes conducted intensive low-altitude flights over southern skies, while hostile drones were observed over Al-Bisariya and Al-Babliya, extending their reach toward Saida and Zahrani.

The Israeli army then released a statement saying that its air force “struck a Hezbollah site in the Ansariyah area of southern Lebanon, which stored engineering vehicles intended to rebuild the terrorist organization’s capabilities and support its terrorist activity”. “A Hezbollah rocket launcher in the area of Al-Jibbain”, it added.

Earlier in the day, an Israeli drone strike killed one person on Wednesday in the town of Yater, in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon.

Shortly after, Israeli fighter jets carried out additional strikes on the outskirts of al-Kharayeb in the Tyre district.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the air raids targeted a facility allegedly used for “producing means to support Hezbollah’s rebuilding efforts and terrorist plans.”

In a statement posted on X, Adraee described the presence of what he called a Hezbollah production site in the area as “a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”

He added that the Israeli military “will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”

In related developments, the spokesperson for UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the attacks, highlighting that bombs dropped near UNIFIL positions represent “one of the most serious assaults on the force since the cessation of hostilities agreement.
