A Lebanese farmer narrowly escaped injury on Wednesday after an Israeli sound bomb was launched toward him while he was harvesting tobacco on his land in the border town of Aita al-Shaab, located in the Bint Jbeil district. The field is situated opposite the Israeli military post of Rahib.

Earlier on Wednesday, an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near Aita al-Shaab’s cemetery, raising tensions in the area. Meanwhile, Israeli surveillance drones were seen flying at low altitude over the towns of Adloun and Ansariya in the Tyre district.
