Israeli drone attacks killed two people on Monday and injured several others across southern Lebanon, as cross-border tensions escalate.

According to the Ministry of Public Health, one person was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a Rapid vehicle in the town of Deir Kifa, located approximately 20 kilometers from the Israeli-Lebanese border. Ambulance teams rushed to the scene following the strike, while Israeli Army Radio confirmed the operation, stating that the targeted vehicle was part of a military action in the area.

A second fatal strike occurred in the nearby town of Beit Lif, where an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a motorcycle, killing one person. The victim was reportedly affiliated with Hezbollah, though no official confirmation was issued by the pro-Iranian group.

In a separate incident, an Israeli helicopter dropped a stun grenade near a residential area on the outskirts of Kfar Kila, further intensifying local fears. Another drone strike targeted a forested area in the town of Chihine in the Tyre district, igniting fires that spread through olive groves and came dangerously close to nearby homes. Civil defense and Islamic Message Scouts teams, backed by the Lebanese army (LAF), worked to contain the blaze.

In addition, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that a raid on Burj Rahal, also in the Tyre district, left nine civilians injured. Another strike in Zarariya, Sidon district, seriously wounded a young girl who was admitted to intensive care.

In a maritime escalation, an Israeli helicopter reportedly dropped a stun grenade near a fishing boat off the coast of Naqoura.
