
Tensions along the Lebanese border with Israel escalated on Wednesday, with a series of Israeli military operations.
An Israeli drone strike targeted a “Bobcat” excavator between the towns of Shaqra and Baraachit, killing one person.
Another strike was reported on a motorcycle in Beit Lif killing one person.
It’s important to note that the Israeli broadcasting company announced that the military had killed two Hezbollah members in drone strikes in South Lebanon on Wednesday.
The Israeli military also demolished a house in Hula, which had previously been hit by a drone strike that killed a resident.
Separately, Israeli forces carried out a controlled explosion near Jabal Blat, along the border facing the Lebanese towns of Marwahin and Ramya in the western sector. The blast was conducted from the Israeli side, with no immediate casualties reported.
Additionally, the Israeli radar site opened heavy fire toward the outskirts of the town of Shebaa.
The Israeli army also fired toward the orchards of Al-Wazzani.
Israeli reconnaissance activity continued, with a drone flying at medium altitude over Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, in the Tyre district.
In a separate development, Israeli media reported a loud explosion in the Western Galilee, prompting an investigation by the Israeli military into the cause of the blast. No official explanation has yet been provided.
