Despite the US strikes that targeted three nuclear sites in Iran at dawn on Sunday, Iranian authorities claim that their nuclear program remains intact in its essential components. Ali Shamkhani, an advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, stated on Sunday that Iran still possesses its stock of enriched uranium, emphasizing that the struggle is far from over.

"Even if the nuclear sites are destroyed, the game is not over. The enriched materials, local knowledge and political will remain," he wrote on social media platform X.

He further added that the future now depends on whoever "plays smartly" and avoids blind strikes, suggesting that new surprises could arise in the coming days.

For his part, Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian responded firmly to the US operation, stating that it clearly revealed Washington’s central role in the Israeli attacks on Iran.

"This attack shows that the United States is the driving force behind the Israeli strikes," he said, adding, "They stepped in directly after witnessing Israel’s powerlessness."

Despite the human losses, including among commanders, scientists and civilians, the Iranian president called for transforming these hardships into a catalyst for national unity.

In the afternoon, Massoud Pezeshkian joined a demonstration in Tehran, broadcast live on state television. In central Tehran, at Revolution Square, thousands of protesters chanted "vengeance, vengeance" with raised fists. The president had to make his way through the dense crowd gathered to denounce the US strikes.
