Mohammad Ali Jammoul, aged 33, was killed at dawn on Saturday in a targeted strike by an Israeli drone as he was driving his car in the village of Deir Zahrani, in the Nabatiyeh caza of southern Lebanon.

According to local sources, the victim was on his way to the village mosque for the dawn prayer when a missile fired by a drone directly hit his Kia vehicle. The attack took place on the road alongside the Deir Zahrani-Nabatiyeh highway, near a pedestrian bridge. The explosion caused his immediate death and completely destroyed the car.

For its part, the Israeli army declared that it had “eliminated Mohammad Ali Jammoul, commander of the Hezbollah missile unit in the Shaqif sector.”

Significantly, this attack was preceded by intense aerial activity by several Israeli Apache helicopters operating deep in Lebanese airspace over the Nabatiyeh region, raising concerns among local residents about a possible escalation of hostilities.
