
Three Israeli airstrikes in under 24 hours targeted the outskirts of the town of Brital in the Baalbeck district on Monday, marking a continued escalation in Israeli raids.
According to local reports, Israeli reconnaissance drones flew extensively over southern Lebanese villages throughout the day, focusing on border communities in the western and central sectors, as well as areas north of the Litani River.
Around 1 AM on Monday, an Israeli drone launched two further strikes on Beit Lif, a nearby locality in the Bint Jbeil district. The state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that the motorcycle driver targeted in the earlier strike survived.
On Monday morning, Israeli drones were reported flying over southern Lebanon, with multiple sightings above Zahrani, Tyre and Nabatiyeh. Additionally, an Israeli drone was spotted over the southern suburbs of Beirut, raising security concerns.
The Ministry of Public Health confirmed that two civilians were injured in Israeli strikes late Sunday night on the southern towns of Beit Liv and Majdal Zoun.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army (LAF) announced plans to detonate unexploded ordnance in the Qulayaa fields near Marjayoun between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
In the evening, the Israeli army carried out an incursion into the village of Mays al-Jabal. The Lebanese army dispatched a unit to the area, which conducted patrols in the eastern part of the village.
