An Israeli security source reported that the Israeli military targeted a Hezbollah military compound in Nabatiyeh. The source, speaking to Al-Arabiya, confirmed that the compound contained weapons and tunnels used by the group.

In a tweet posted on Thursday, Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army spokesperson announced:

"Israeli Air Force fighter jets recently struck a site in the Beaufort area in southern Lebanon that was used to manage the fire and defense systems of the Hezbollah terrorist organization." The strike targeted a command facility believed to play a key role in Hezbollah's military infrastructure in the region as stated in the post.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that one person was killed and eight others wounded.

Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it would continue its offensive policy against Hezbollah.

Starting at 11:15 AM on Thursday, Israeli warplanes launched a large-scale airstrike on the Nabatiyeh area, carrying out a series of heavy bombings in two waves. The targets included valleys, hills, and forests stretching across the towns of Kfar Tibnit, Nabatiyeh el-Fawqa, and Kfar Rumman.

The explosions from the missiles caused massive blasts, the echoes of which were heard across much of the Nabatiyeh region and southern Lebanon. The attacks created widespread panic, with many residents rushing to schools to evacuate their children.

According to an Israeli military source quoted by Israeli media, before Adraee’s statement, an “important target” was struck in this part of southern Lebanon. However, authorities did not specify the exact nature of the target.

Additionally, an Israeli drone was spotted flying over the town of Naqoura, where it dropped leaflets disguised as counterfeit currency containing anti-Hezbollah messages. In addition, Israeli artillery targeted the Bastara farm and the outskirts of Shebaa with two artillery shells.

Finally, Israeli warplanes flew over the capital, Beirut, as well as its southern suburbs. At the same time, a civilian vehicle was targeted with machine gun fire on the Odaisseh-Kfar Kila road, resulting in multiple bullet impacts. Fortunately, the vehicle's occupants, who were women, survived the attack.
