
The Israeli army announced on Friday that it had killed a Hezbollah official, Mohammad Jaafar Abdallah, in an airstrike that targeted a vehicle on the Ghazieh highway in the Saida region that morning. The vehicle, hit by a drone, immediately caught fire. Firefighters responded quickly and managed to control the blaze. The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health confirmed that one person was killed in the strike.
Civil defense and emergency teams transported injured individuals from inside the targeted vehicle, as well as others who were passing nearby at the time of the strike.

On his X account, Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson who disclosed the identity of the individual killed, stated that he “was involved in terrorist activities against the State of Israel.” He added that the man was “responsible for installing communication equipment in Lebanon, particularly south of the Litani River.”
Second Hezb official targeted
Another Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle on the Jabal el-Maatak road between Rmeich in the Bint Jbeil caza and the border village of Aïta al-Shaab, killing its occupant.
Sources in the Saudi media outlet Al-Hadath reported that the targeted car “belongs to Hezbollah” and that the target is “Khalil Srour”, whose mission is to “transport weapons and fighters to Hezbollah.” This information was corroborated by the Israeli media outlet KAN News, according to which “a Hezbollah agent was killed”.
The Israeli army then confirmed the information through Mr. Adraee, in a brief statement published on X, stating that “earlier this evening, the air force attacked the Aita al-Shaab area and eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist who was planning terrorist activity in southern Lebanon.”

Reports also indicated that the vehicle's occupant was returning from a funeral in the above-mentioned area when his vehicle was hit.
Furthermore, a third Israeli drone strike targeted a prefabricated rooms in the town of Mohaybib earlier in the day, the same site was reportedly targeted the night before. One person was reported killed in this strike.
